Hi, I'm coming to MK on 22nd Dec w/family.I'm worried there there won't be Christmas parade, characters in Christmas outfits, snow on Main Street.Santa in sleigh etc as it sounds like you can only see all this in the Merry Christmas Party? This ends on 18th.

Not to worry, Sarah!  Guests traveling to Walt Disney World in early December can only see the Christmas parade by attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  However, once the last party is held in mid to late December, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime parade (together with the snow and Santa) takes place daily during regular park operating hours.  All of the fun and festivity will be in full swing when you visit on December 22nd.  Have a merry trip!

Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
