Hello Blanca!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You picked a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort. In fact, I will be vacationing there that week as well! Generally you will be able to see the
Daily Events Schedule updated online about six weeks in advance. Here you can see times of parades, fireworks, and other performances as well as attractions that will be closed due to refurbishments. You are correct that the nighttime spectacular World of Color will be undergoing refurbishment during your vacation. As sad as I am to also miss this impressive spectacle, know that there are still many other ways to enjoy your evenings during your trip.
The "Incredible"
Pixar Fest will be in full swing all summer, and with this comes some really exciting entertainment. In Disney California Adventure Park, my absolute favorite nighttime parade, Paint the Night, returns with some of the most impressive light-up floats, costumes, and music. Over in Disneyland Park you can still see the classic yet exciting nighttime spectacular Fantasmic! as well as the brand new fireworks show
Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular.
Just like you, I also cannot wait for Pixar Pier to open in June. While much of the Pier is currently blocked off for these enhancements you can still experience Toy Story Midway Mania! which is always one of our must-do attractions.
I hope this helps, and I can't wait for you to make magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth!
