Hey there, Shelby! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to help you out today. As a dad of two little Mouseketeers, I've taken my oldest to
Disney World when he was just a year old and my youngest at eight months. We're even planning a trip in March next year with both of them! So, I think I can share some fun insights for your question.
First off, I want to say two important things: No matter which park you choose, what day you go, or how old your kiddos are, it's going to be an amazing adventure filled with memories you'll cherish forever. So, don't stress too much about it. And remember, this is a personal choice, and you know your little one best!
From my experience,
Magic Kingdom is always my kids' favorite Disney World theme park. It's huge, packed with attractions and play areas, and it's where you can meet all your favorite characters! Whether it's parades, shows, character dining, or fireworks, there's something magical around every corner, making it a blast for kids and adults alike.
A close second for us is
Disney's Hollywood Studios! There are so many fantastic shows like
Beauty and the Beast and
Frozen, plus lots of opportunities for character meet-and-greets. Most attractions are indoors, which is perfect for staying cool during those hot days or when the weather isn't cooperating with rain in the forecast.
Then there's
Disney's Animal Kingdom—a great park with amazing animal encounters and shaded spots for running around and exploring. Don't miss the
Tusker House Restaurant for character dining; it's a fantastic value, delicious food, and a great chance to snap some fun pics with Mickey and his pals!
I really hope this helps you with your plans, Shelby! No matter where you end up, I'm sure you'll have the best time ever. If you have any more questions, we're here and always happy to help out—just like friends should!
Cheers,
Nilson
