Hi, there!
Brittany, I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting
Magic Kingdom Park this July. You and your kiddos are sure to make lots of special memories together!
My three children are about the exact same ages as your trio, and I just love that there are so many
family-friendly attractions that appeal to all of them. Immersive attractions with gentle, easy tracks are just as magical for my 9-year old as they are for my toddler! That said, my oldest certainly loves the
thrill attractions at Magic Kingdom Park. I'm happy to give you some suggestions for your visit!
When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, head straight for Fantasyland. Start with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train so your 10-year old can experience his first thrill of the day right off the bat. While you're in Fantasyland, be sure to ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mad Tea Party, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Barnstormer, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, Peter Pan's Flight, and "it's a small world." By then your oldest may be ready for more mature fun, so hop on a doom buggy for a ride through Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square. Then, let your youngest play at the Laughin' Place (a play area designed for children under 40 inches tall) while your biggest kiddos get a chance to ride Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland. In Adventureland, the whole family can enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Don't forget to visit Tomorrowland! I bet your oldest will love Tomorrowland Speedway, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and Space Mountain.
Be sure to use
Disney's Rider Switch for attractions that your
little one is just
too little for. This family-friendly service makes it possible for everyone in your family to experience thrill attractions without experiencing multiple wait times!
End your day with
Happily Ever After. This nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park is perfect for all ages! An hour prior to show time, my family and I grab hot dogs, french fries, and lemonade from
Casey's Corner. We picnic on the plaza garden while we wait for the show to begin, which is a great way to get my kids fed and secure a viewing spot at the same time!
I hope this was helpful, Brittany. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
