I'm coming down for the marathon. I keep to a low carb diet and wonder if you have any low carb dining recommendations and I was also wondering if they'll have Powerade zero during the race or just regular Powerade?

    Hi Brittany!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Staying on my diet at Walt Disney World is definitely not my specialty, BUT there are plenty of options for low-carb eating. Turning down bread service at most restaurants is the key.

The first things that come to mind are the restaurants that offer my favorite chicken and steak meals. These include Tiffins at Animal Kingdom park, California Grill inside Disney's Contemporary Resort and STK Orlando at Disney Springs.

If you like seafood, Flying Fish on Disney's Boardwalk and Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian are great choices.

I recommend making your reservation in advance.  You can do this on the Walt Disney World Dining website, or by calling 407-939-1947.

I hope some of these suggestions help!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
