I'm coming to Disneyland Park on 29May with a young adult with special needs. Is there a way we could get special exception to bypass the queues? He has Autism and Intellectual disability. We are coming from Australia. Thanks, Shirley

    Hello, Shirley!

I’m so grateful for the Disneyland Resort services provided to Guests with disabilities. As a parent of children with Autism, it has been such a relief that Cast Members are trained to provide assistance and support to help make our visits to the Disneyland Resort even more magical.

Guests who are not able to use a traditional attraction queue may benefit from the Disability Access Service, or DAS. Guests register for DAS either in-person at any Guest Relations location or online via live video chat using DAS Advance. DAS Advance registration must be done between two and 30 days before arrival.

During the DAS registration process, a Cast Member will meet directly with the Guest requiring the service. The Cast Member will ask a few simple questions to determine the best level of accommodations to meet the needs of the Guest. If the Guest is determined to be eligible for DAS, the service will be linked with the theme park admission for each member of the party, and a member of the party will have the service enabled on their account in the Disneyland mobile app. Return times to participating attractions are booked in the Disneyland app. The DAS-eligible Guest will be required to be present when redeeming the attraction return times.

During our family’s most recent visit to the Disneyland Resort, using DAS was a smooth and easy experience. We are so grateful to feel welcome and included as we experience The Happiest Place on Earth!

    Have a magical time, Shirley!
