Boo! Trick or treat, Kirsten, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your spook-tacular question! October is a great time to be visiting the Disneyland Resort. The air’s a bit crisper, and the first signs of fall are starting to arrive. October also means
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort!
This year, Halloween Time will be celebrated from September 6 through October 31, 2019. Mickey’s Halloween Party is being replaced by
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, which is being held at Disney California Adventure Park. This event will take place on select Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the months of September and October from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and will require a separate ticket. The
Park Hours for Disneyland Park haven’t been released yet for the month of October, so we won’t know the exact timing until about mid-August. I recommend checking back about six weeks ahead of your arrival for more details regarding Park Hours and the Entertainment Schedule.
If you aren’t planning on attending the Bash, there’s still plenty of Halloween fun to be had at the Disneyland Park! You’ll love visiting
Haunted Mansion Holiday, inspired by
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s always a treat to explore the sights and seasonal surprises along the path of your Doom Buggy.
There are plenty of
Costumed Characters available for meet-and-greets, too, such as the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, and his good friend Sally. Of course, classic Characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse will also be dressed up and ready for some fiendish fun!
On Main Street, U.S.A., the
Main Street Pumpkin Festival is a great spot to stop for a Halloween photo with your crew in front of tons of hand-carved pumpkins. And, don’t miss the delightfully delicious Halloween-themed snacks, treats, and keepsakes throughout the park!
Wishing you a spooky visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
