I’m coming to Disneyland next month can I use my Visa Debit Card at the park? FYI coming from Canada

Hey, hey John and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. June is going to be a magical time to head south to the "Happiest Place on Earth." I am so glad you are planning ahead to make sure your trip to see Mickey and the gang is practically perfect in every way.

Disneyland Resort dining and merchant locations accept credit and debit cards, traveler's cheque, cash, and Disney Gift Cards. You are safe to pay with your Visa Debit Card so make sure to bring an extra suitcase for all the souvenirs you will be taking back north of the 49th parallel. You may also pay with Disney Dollars. What are those you ask? Disney Dollars were discontinued in 2006 after 19 years and were paper money that could be purchased for the same value as U.S.Dollars in $1, $5, $10, $20 and $50 denominations. The Disney Dollars could then be used to make purchases in the theme parks.

I sent a transmission to the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu to confirm that you may also use your Visa Debit Card at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

Disney Dad Tip: Be sure to download the Play Disney Parks Mobile App for games around the theme parks. Around Star Wars: Galaxy's edge you will be able to translate the Aurebesh language, intercept communications from the Resistance and First Order and more. Awesome!

John, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
