Im coming to Disney in a week and didn't realize I should have made reservations already for restaurants. Everytime I go to make a reservation it says its booked. Can you still go and wait in line or are the restaurants reservations only?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Melissa!

All is not lost. We often go to Disney without any Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) and play it by ear so don't lose hope just yet. Here are some suggestions:

    * Keep trying. You can do that by calling 407-WDW-DINE every day or so as guests often cancel reservations once they get closer to their trips and firm up their plans. You can also continue to check online. Sometimes I've had more luck by calling. Continue to check even after you arrive on property.

    * If you want to dine at a Table Service location inside a theme park, stop by Guest Relations on your way in to check for availability.

    * One other option is to try walking up. This option may not be great if you have little ones who may not understand if you can't get in and be truly disappointed but you never know if you don't try. We've had good success if we try just before they start serving and ask. Locations that offer buffets can often turn tables over more quickly so these may be good locations to try.

    * Think outside the theme parks and try restaurants at the resorts.

    * Don't stress if you can't get in. There are still great places to eat where reservations aren't required. Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom is Quick Service for lunch and doesn't accept reservations so this is a fabulous option.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!  Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
