hello I'm coming to Disney soon and have a leg injury andneed to rent a scooter (preferably) or wheelchair. In one day can I see the Star Wars experience and then switch parks to do the avatar too?

Hello there, Fiona! Welcome back to planDisney!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is now only TWO days away! Can you believe that you are SO close?! You are probably very busy now as you prepare with packing and last-minute to-do lists. It will all be worth it when you arrive for your magical vacation!

I am sorry to hear about your leg injury! It sounds like you have a great plan in place to rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV/scooter) for your time in the theme parks. It will make getting around a lot easier for you! When it comes to park hopping with ECV or wheelchair rentals, you will have to return the rental when you exit the theme park. Then, when you arrive at your next destination, take your rental receipt to the rental location to pick up another one (subject to availability).

Speaking of park hopping, one of my favorite things is the ability to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios to join the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in the morning, then hop over to Disney's Animal Kingdom and fly on the back of a banshee in Avatar Flight of Passage in the afternoon. I think that day sounds pretty perfect! The most important thing you will want to keep in mind is that you have to have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first theme park you plan to visit and you must visit that park first, then when park hopping hours open (currently at 2:00 PM), you can begin hopping to another theme park (as long as that theme park has not reached park capacity). You can check the My Disney Experience mobile app for park hopping hours. If the hours are listed, that means you can visit that park. If no park hopping hours are listed, it means that park is currently at capacity and not accepting more Guests. It makes park hopping super easy!

I hope this helps with your final vacation details, Fiona! Please let us know if any other questions pop up.
