Hi! Im coming to Disney in June for my birthday and was wondering if we can bring our own sandwiches and chips for lunch into the parks? I have dinner reservations at Be Our Guest on my birthday! Is there a way I can tell them it's my birthday before I go?

Hello Emily! Happy early birthday! Yes, you can bring in your own chips and sandwiches into the parks. I always bring healthy snacks when my son travels with me so that he can eat something other than Mickey Bars and french fries. There is nothing wrong with those delicious Disney Parks snack foods of course, but sometimes little stomachs don't react to 'vacation food' in the same way that adults do. It is a great way to save money, too. You can also bring in a container for water and fill it up throughout the day so that you don't have to buy bottled water.

I'm so glad you will be able to dine at Beast's Enchanted Castle at Be Our Guest restaurant on your birthday! It is one of the most breathtaking dining locations in all of Walt Disney World, in my opinion. Usually if I am celebrating I will let the Cast Member know while I make my reservation, but you can also call (407) 939 - 1947 and let them know that you will be celebrating a birthday. If your birthday is noted in the reservation your server might acknowledge it and give you special recognition. In the past we have received a birthday card signed by servers or Disney Characters and a birthday cupcake. As a reminder, these things are not guaranteed, however, I have received them in my own experience.

I hope you have the most magical birthday at Walt Disney World! Come back and see us if you need anything else.
