Matt from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I'm a college student in LA. I live here for tha majority of each year, but as I am from out of state, I still possess a non-CA license. Could I still prove my SoCal residency with a lease agreement and student ID for the SoCal Reisdent offer?

    Hi there, Matt!

Welcome to planDisney! I hope your new year is off to a great start. The Southern California Resident Ticket currently being offered has some restrictions:

    • You must reside within ZIP codes 90000-93599 or 21000-22999.
    • You must provide proof of eligible residency, including a valid government-issued ID,  for purchase and admission.
    • Visits are subject to blockout dates and tickets may not be sold or transferred.
Because you do not have a government-issued ID to validate your residency I'm afraid that you won't be able to purchase tickets using this promotion. But Standard Park Tickets are available with open park reservations for most days in the next few months! There are some super exciting events coming up, including the Disney100 Celebration starting January 27 and the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival starting March 3.

When I'm not able to make it into the parks, I love spending a few hours in the Downtown Disney District! We often enjoy live music (check the Hours and Events Calendar here), grab a treat, and wander the unique shops like WonderGround Gallery. You can also make a reservation to enjoy Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel, no park admission required!

Good luck with your studies, I hope you find some time to add in a little magic!

    Keep moving forward!
