Hi, I'm checking in tomorrow night at Pop Century and I was wondering, can you use a Disney gift card for incidentals?

    Welcome to planDisney, Tracy!

Oh, wow! You are about to arrive at your spectacular Walt Disney World vacation. So exciting!

Tracy, you absolutely may use Disney Gift Cards throughout so many WDW locations, including at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Gift cards are a fantastic way to keep an eye on your spending. In fact, we like to purchase extra Disney Gift Cards at a discount using either a retailer credit card program or by scooping up a few when a membership retailer offers them at a savings as well.

Whether you are enjoying some delicious Chicken Adobo Nachos or infamous Mickey Brownie Sundae at Everything Pop Shopping & Dining or picking up some new favorite souvenirs, you can spend those Disney Gift Card dollars right there at your hotel. In fact, I've even charged purchases to my hotel account--I love the ease of doing so with a MagicBand+--then stopped by the front desk to apply those Disney Gift Cards to my account balance later. Check with a Cast Member at the front desk to determine when the credit card on file will be charged, then be sure to return and apply those gift cards prior to that date and time.

Don't forget that you can make this even easier by adding those Disney Gift Cards to your mobile digital wallet, too. Many locations throughout the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs accept Disney Gift Cards, so check before purchasing, then enjoy the freedom of shopping and dining with them.

Tracy, best wishes for the most magical visit to Walt Disney World! Safe travels and enjoy the magic!
