I'm checking in at Copper Creek on Sunday, May 2nd very early (before 7:00am) and I'm headed to Magic Kingdom. (I know I can't actually get in my room at that time.) How early will either the buses or the boat be available to take me to MK?

Ahoy there, Joshua and welcome to planDisney where we love to don a Captain's hat and orient guests to a fabulous vacation.

Joshua, as a Disney Vacation Club Member whose "home" resort is Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I'm thrilled you'll be making a visit! The water taxi to Magic Kingdom Park is only one of the many reasons my family and I fell in love with this property, so let's talk about how early you can be "all aboard."

Currently all modes of transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort begin approximately 45 minutes prior to park opening. At this time the hours listed for Magic Kingdom Park on Sunday, May 2, 2021 are 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM so I would recommend heading to the boat launch around 7:00 AM for the earliest arrival. Keep in mind that you may need to wait a few minutes for the first boat at that time, but then you'll be sailing away toward Cinderella Castle!

Joshua, I hope this helps as you are planning for an early arrival and a Magical day. Since you'll be up with the sunrise, you may need a jolt of caffeine or a breakfast treat to fuel your day. If so, stop by the Main Street Bakery before you head to your first attraction.

Best wishes for a pixie-dusted stay and please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions.
