Hi Kylie!
Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR, and I must say it's so fun to help a fellow Texan!
I am happy to report that when purchasing
multi-day tickets you have a 13-day window from which to choose the dates you'd like to enter the
Disneyland Resort theme parks. While I see that you're only going to be visiting Mickey's original house for three days, you have the ultimate choice to decide how you want to spend them. You could head to the parks as soon as you drop off your luggage and then all of the next day; you could choose to start with a full Disney day on the 2nd and on the 3rd head to the airport hours after you exited your favorite attraction. Or, you could really throw everyone for a loop and spend that full SoCal day pool-side and visit the theme parks on both your arrival and departure day. It's up to you! Pro tip: Don't forget to make your
Park Pass Reservations, which designate which park you're going to visit which day.
I think you're really going to like
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Kylie. One of my favorite Disneyland Dining locations,
Storytellers Cafe, is located on the ground floor. The
pools are not only gorgeous, there is also a changing and shower room steps away from the slide, which is incredibly convenient as you'll have access to the pool deck as soon as you arrive and all day on the 3rd, even before you've checked-in and after you've checked-out of your guest room. (Pro Tip: Be sure to pack your swim gear in your carry-on!) And this hotel even has it's own dedicated entrance, complete with bag check, to both the
Downtown Disney District and
Disney's California Adventure Park!
I hope this helped to clEAR things up a bit, Kylie, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
