    Hi! I'm going to check into our Disney hotel while my husband is at a conference, and he plans to meet me later at the parks. Do I need to take his magic band with me to the hotel to activate it, or is it ready to use when it comes in the mail? Thank you!

    Hi Stacy! Thanks for writing with the great question! And how lucky are you to be able to enjoy the parks and all Disney has to offer while your husband is busy at his conference! As long as you check your party in to the resort, it should be no problem. Your husband's MagicBand will be active and ready to go. When you check in, be sure to advise the cast member if he is also to have charging privileges on his MagicBand, so he'll have all he needs.
