Where do you get the “I’m Celebrating” pins and where do you get them personalized??? My family of 4 are going in February for the 1st time and I would love to get these!!! We are going to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs

    Hiya Ashley,

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your personalization question. OH BOY, I’m so excited to hear this is your family’s very first trip to Disney World! You're in for a truly unforgettable adventure. There’s just something extra magical about experiencing it all for the first time.

From that very first glimpse of Cinderella Castle, to the rush of riding TRON in Magic Kingdom, or spotting giraffes on Kilimanjaro Safaris in Animal Kingdom, to singing along at Festival of the Lion King (a must-do for my family)—you’re about to make memories that will last a lifetime. And don’t even get me started on Disney Springs... between the shops, the atmosphere, and those GIANT cookies from Gideon’s Bakehouse? Pure magic!

Now let’s zoom into your question. You’ll be happy to know that you can pick up a complimentary “First Visit” or “I’m Celebrating” button at Guest Relations, your Disney Resort hotel front desk, or any theme park ticket window. You can absolutely personalize it yourself—or, if you’re like me and love those extra magical touches, stop by Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom. For a small fee, a Disney calligrapher can beautifully customize your button! It’s one of those charming details that makes your trip feel even more special. Just try to visit early in the day, since the talented artists are also busy personalizing ornaments, Mickey Ears, and other magical keepsakes.

Since this is your first visit, here are a couple of my go-to tips to help you make the most of the magic:

First, be sure to download the My Disney Experience app. It’s like having your own personal Fairy Godmother right in your pocket—ride wait times, mobile food ordering, Lightning Lane purchases, park maps, transportation routes... it does it all!

And if you’re planning to take lots of photos (and I highly recommend you do!), consider purchasing Memory Maker. With it, you'll get access to all your Disney PhotoPass pictures—and even better, you can ask Cast Members for Magic Shots, which sometimes include surprise characters or pixie dust right in your photos. My girls once had Bambi, Flower, and Thumper popping out of the ground in front —it was such a fun surprise!

Ashley, I’m so excited for you and your family to experience the magic for the very first time. There’s truly nothing like it. If you have any more questions while planning your trip, don’t hesitate to reach out again—we're always happy to help.

Wishing you the most magical first visit ever,

    Christina
