Hello, Alexandria!
Welcome to planDisney, we are always excited to celebrate anything and everything with fellow guests! There are a lot of fun, exciting, and beautiful ways to celebrate something special at the Disneyland Resort. Bring on the confetti!
Complimentary celebration buttons for a variety of occasions are available from
Guest Relations in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. I've even found them at the Disneyland Resort Hotels! Cast Members at Guest Relations Locations are always happy to add a quick personalization to your button with a permanent marker, but I think it's definitely worth taking a blank button to the
Plaza Point shop on Main Street, U.S.A. and kindly asking the artist there if you can have your button personalized. Just know that there is likely to be a small fee for the personalization, similar to what you would pay for the artist to personalize an ornament. Totally worth it for a unique way to remember your special day! Right now, there are no personalization artists in Downtown Disney.
You'll want to be sure to wear your celebration button during your visit, you never know what magic might find you! In fact, one of the things my family loves to do is take our buttons to the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to have the button (and you!) sprinkled with some complimentary pixie dust! You could also have a pair of Mickey or Minnie Ears embroidered to remember your special event at the
Mad Hatter!Do you know what one of my celebratory happy thoughts is? Cake! A delicious cupcake from the
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe in Disneyland Park or
Sprinkles in Downtown Disney would be a great way to celebrate. If you'll be dining at a participating restaurant you could also order a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake when you make your
dining reservation. They are so cute!
Disneyland Park is celebrating, too, Alexandria! There's the reopening of
Mickey's Toontown, and I can't forget the beautiful
Disney100 Celebration that has brought new nighttime spectaculars, treats, and shining decorations across the parks. If you have more questions about your visit please come back and see us again. Whatever you're celebrating, I hope that your visit will be completely magical!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
