Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shawnna!
First, congratulations on your very own “Happily Ever After” with your husband! My first trip to Walt Disney World Resort was actually on our honeymoon 10 yEARS ago, and to say I got hooked is a HUGE understatement! My husband and I actually renewed our vows yesterday and are planning our 10 year wedding anniversary Walt Disney World Resort vacation in August, too! Your MagicBands are indeed waterproof!
Here are some of my favorite things to do as a couple: -Make sure to stop by Guest Services and pick-up an anniversary button so that you Cast Members (and even other Guests) recognize that you are celebrating! If you haven’t already, make sure that it is noted on your Disney Reservation that you have a celebration!
-Stroll around Epcot’s World Showcase and enjoy a few drinks and snacks. Sipping a glass of champagne at the France Pavilion overlooking the water with your husband is pretty romantic!
-Enjoy a Signature Restaurant meal. I love California Grill- if you time it right, you can even watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park during or after your meal! Remember that you can book your Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance.
-Enjoy the benefits of
Memory Maker and see how many romantic photos you can get! My personal favorite is the kiss in front of Cinderella Castle at night!
-Enjoy a Couples Massage at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Spas!
