Hi there, Karen!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question. I’m thrilled to hear you want to spend your birthday at the
Disneyland Resort because there’s no better place to celebrate a special occasion! During your visit, be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button at City Hall in
Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in
Disney California Adventure Park to help you celebrate and receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members and other Guests all day! If you have any table-service meals planned, let your server know
it’s your birthday because your group will receive a bit of extra magic during your dining experience.
After
parking your vehicle at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, you’ll proceed to the ground level and use a dedicated walkway that leads to the theme parks from the two resort parking structures. There will be signs to help guide you. Additionally, wheelchair, stroller and ECV rentals are available right at the parking structures for Guests who are unable to walk longer distances.
The State of California does recommend that all Guests of the Disneyland Resort be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test, but there are no formal vaccination or testing requirements for children or adults to enter Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, the Downtown Disney District, or the resort hotels at this time. However, the resort does require that all Guests ages 2 and up wear a face covering indoors. The face coverings can be either disposable or reusable and must be worn inside all buildings, enclosed attractions, and on resort transportation.
I hope this information helps you plan your pixie-dusted vacation, Karen. Please send us any other questions you have as your visit approaches!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
