Im going to celebrate my birthday at disney on july 22 and I want minnie ears but i want my minnie ears to look different for my special day. I want to know if one of the disney parks offer to make customed minnie or mickey ears?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melisa! I’m so glad you’re hEAR with your Minnie ears question. I have quite the collection of ear headband and hats, so I’ll give you my best advice for your special day.

While there used to be a shop that customized Mickey ear hats with component pieces, sadly those days are gone. You can always have an ear hat embroidered with various colors of thread (my favorite shop is in the Town Square Theatre in Magic Kingdom), but Minnie ears are not eligible for embroidery. Coming this fall to the Disney Parks is the Interchangeable Bow Collection, which is a standard velvet Minnie headband with over ten different bows and three positions to suit your mood and daily style. Since this collection was only available during a preview at D23 until the fall rolls around, I’d recommend that you turn to Etsy.

There are so many sellers of inspired and themed ears that may be perfect to celebrate your birthday. Otherwise, I’d hop on the Shop Disney Parks App or Disneystore.com and browse the current selection to see what tickles your fancy. I hope you have a fashionable birthday and I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
