I'm going to CBR next year and my travel agent has accidentally assigned two people to the wrong rooms (wife swap style) so their reference numbers for the rooms and app are incorrect. Will this affect park tickets, meal vouchers etc?

Hi Rhian and welcome to planDisney.

How exciting that you have booked a Hotel + Ticket package, staying at Caribbean Beach Resort, next year. Believe me when I say that there is absolutely nothing in the world that makes me happier than having a brand new Walt Disney World trip to count down the days to!

Caribbean Beach Resort is such a great choice of hotel. Its lush landscapes and vibrant colours provide a relaxed paradise vibe. That coupled with its fantastic Spanish fort themed pool with waterslide and access to the Disney Skyliner, make it one of my family's favourite places to stay.

Going back to your question, Rhian, I think that if I were in your situation, in order to avoid any potential issues, I would definitely get in touch with the Travel Agent who you have made your booking with, to request that they correctly assign the correct people to the correct rooms.

It could get a little tricky if this isn't resolved particularly if the people assigned to the wrong room are redeeming Disney Dining Plan entitlements for their individual party against the second party's room.

If you have made your booking with the Walt Disney Travel Company, via the UK version of the Walt Disney World website, you can contact their Disney Experts, 7 days a week, on freephone 0800 169 0730. Their opening hours are as follows:-

    Monday - Friday 9am-8pm
    Saturday 9am-7pm
    Sunday 10am-6pm

If you have booked via an alternative Travel Agent, you should be able to find their contact information on your booking confirmation.

If, for any reason, your Travel Agent is not able to rectify this for you, prior to your arrival, be sure to let a Cast Member aware of the issue when you check-in at your Disney Hotel. They are always super helpful and have never yet failed to resolve any issue that I have ever encountered.

I hope that this information has been of help, Rhian and that you manage to get this issue resolved, ASAP. Please do feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further assistance with the planning of your 2026 trip.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
