Hi there. I’m Canadian and travelling to Disney World at the end of March 2023. I’m wondering there are any discounts on parks tickets for that time? Thanks! Brenda

Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Brenda!

Thank you for stopping by with this excellent question, and as a fellow Canadian Disney fan, it’s a topic that comes into my mind quite frequently, especially factoring in the difference in the exchange rate between the Canadian and the US dollar at this time - oh bother! I also recall many special offers for Canadian residents which we greatly appreciated in the past.

Brenda, at this time, I couldn’t find any Walt Disney World Resort – Special Offers, Deals & Discounts, nor am I aware of any that might come about, I’m sorry, but I will share a few of my strategies to stay current and catch any deals that pop up. Firstly, I sign into my Disney account online, update my information and opt-in to receive Disney news, information, and applicable special offers for Canada and related to my Disney affiliations. Secondly, I make a point of checking the Places to Stay tab on the main page once signed into my Disney account online, because that’s where any applicable offers will be waiting – fingers crossed for some soon! I also follow the official Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date news releases and accurate information. Lastly, please perform an online search for our Canadian airline carrier package deals, I know that I have seen some from WestJet and Air Canada recently.

Like you, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a special offer because we’re planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort for the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend and it sure would be nice to be a Guest at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel to enjoy all the convenient benefits and magical experiences. We just completed a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge recently when the hurricane came through and I was so happy to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck greeting Guests in the main lobby - that's the kind of magical stuff you can only experience staying on property.

Brenda, I wish that I had better news for you, I apologize. I hope that our pal Mickey Mouse will keep us Canadians in mind and toss a sweet special offer our way soon, that would be so nice! And for you, it would be a great opportunity to enjoy the 50th Anniversary Celebration until the end of March (subject to change).

Did you know that Disney Cruise Line has special offers for Canadian residents and many other offers? Maybe you could sail a magical adventure at sea, and maybe even one to Alaska right from the port of Vancouver - that's on my bucket list!

Until then, if you have any other planning questions, it would be my great pleasure to offer some first-hand tips and advice – thank you so much for sending us your question today!

    Best Disney Wishes!
    Jacqueline
