    Hi there, I'm a canadian resident planning a disney cruise for next fall and I'm undecided where would be best for my family's first cruise, Carribean,Mexican or Bahamas, also Which is the most convenient airport closest to Port Canaveral

    Hi Stephen!

    All of the Disney Cruises are wonderful.  It's hard to say what would be best for your family.  If this is your first cruise, then I do suggest a 4 night cruise on the Disney Dream.  If you like it, then you can always do longer cruises in the future.  I don't recommend the 3 night cruise, because that is really too short in my opinion; you basically get onboard and then it feels like it's time to leave!  The Disney Dream is a spectacular ship so I really recommend that for your first cruise!

    Their are three airports close to Port Canaveral:  Daytona Beach, Melbourne, and Orlando.  Melbourne and Orlando are about the same distance away, but there are relatively few flights into Melbourne.  You will have the most transportation options to get to the cruise terminal from Orlando in my opinion.  However, if you are willing to rent a car and drop if off in Port Canaveral before boarding the ship then I don't think it matters and I would fly into the airport with the lowest cost.
