    I'm a Canadian planning to come down in Aug 2020..Magicbands do not ship to Canada? If i buy some beforehand, can those be linked before we arrive?

    Hi Mike, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. As a fellow Canadian, I completely understand the frustration associated with the fact that MagicBands can’t be shipped internationally. 

    If you’re planning to stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel in August 2020, however, you don’t have to worry about buying some before your trip. Your MagicBands will be “automagically” linked to your My Disney Experience account and will be waiting for you to get picked up when you check in. 

    If, however, you’re planning to stay elsewhere, you can absolutely buy some MagicBands prior to your visit if you’re visiting Walt Disney World Resort (including Disney Springs) before August 2020. You can also have any MagicBands that you may choose to purchase when you arrive for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation linked the moment they’re purchased, which is probably your best option. 

    Finally, if you want to purchase them via shopDisney, you’ll need to ship them to a U.S. address because MagicBands purchased there can’t be shipped to Canada, either.
