Hi there, Amy! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking your question!
You'll be glad to know that the Disneyland Resort is now open to everyone! There was a rule in place when the parks first reopened that restricted attendance to California residents, but that rule has since been changed. So feel free to come on down and have some fun!
The first thing you'll want to do is check out the
theme park reservation availability calendar to see if there is availability for the dates you want to visit. Theme park reservations are still required for each day that you want to visit and can be made up to 120 days in advance. If your dates have availability, then you will
purchase your tickets and make your theme park reservations all in the same transaction. If you purchase Park Hopper tickets, you will make theme park reservations for the park you want to start at each day and then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop to the other park.
Finally, be sure to read up on the new
Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ services coming soon. These services can save you oodles of time while you are in the parks so it's best to be familiar with their features before your visit.
I hope you'll be able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon!
