I’m from Canada. My husband and I have a trip planned for end of June. We ordered our park passes when the special for Canadian residents we offered. We received out Walt Disney worLd exchange certificates in mail today and having tough time linking them!

    Hi Kim,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so very much for asking me a question, my fellow Canadian. It’s wonderful to meet you!

I’m thrilled to hear that you were able to purchase your Theme Park Tickets for your June vacation using the Special Offer for Canadian residents. It really was a great deal!

The way that you can link your exchange certificates to your My Disney Experience account is to go to the “My Plans” section of the website. Under the “Plans and Tickets” header near the top of the page, you’ll see 5 circles. Hover over the “Park Tickets” circle, and you should get an option to “Link Tickets”. Click on that and, on the next page, you should be able to enter the numerical key on the back of each of your exchange certificates and then link that ticket to yourself and the next ticket to your husband’s profile by clicking on his icon in your Family & Friends List (or creating a new profile for him).

You can also link your tickets via the My Disney Experience Mobile App by logging in, and then clicking the three little bars in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. There, you can click on the “Tickets and Passes” page, click the “+” icon in the top right hand corner and then click on “Link Tickets & Passes”. I sometimes have better luck linking with the mobile app, so if the website method doesn’t work for you, I’d recommend trying the app instead.

If none of this is working (and I’m truly sorry if that happens!) then your next step would be to call Walt Disney World Resort in order to “untangle” your vacation plans. There’s a dedicated My Disney Experience technical help line and they’ll be more than happy to assist you.

Please don’t forget that, while you can absolutely make FastPass+ selections once your tickets are linked, but you’ll need to visit a ticket booth or Guest Relations with proof of Canadian residence in order to activate your tickets before entering your first Theme Park.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
