    I'm camping at Ft Wilderness with my backpacking stove but no fuel as I have to check my bag on the plane. Where can I buy 100g isobutane/propane fuel canisters near the campground part of WDW? Hopefully a nearby grocery store so I can grab food too?

    Hi Caitlin! Camping at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds is an exciting way to vacation at Walt Disney World. The amenities offered to all the campers whether you are in a tent or a large motor coach are very special. The resort has a large pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, large grassy play area, boat rentals, horseback riding, and much more.

    It is especially hard to pack and fly when planning a camping vacation. The Trading Post will have the small canisters of gas used for many different things but I don't think those will be what you are looking for. The Wal Mart that is closest to the property is on Turkey Lake Road and you can find directions on the Internet. I cannot guarantee they will have the proper gas canisters but it is likely. They also have a grocery section so you could make this a one stop shopping trip. The other possibility is to contact the nearest Camping World which is on West Colonial Drive. There is also one in Kissimmee but with the traffic I feel that one is a little further away.

    I don't envy your packing for this trip. Bring only what you need and possibly rent other equipment once you arrive. No matter what you will enjoy your vacation and this special camping trip.
