Welcome to planDisney, Brooke! Thanks for bringing your question to us. I can see that you are just one day away from your visit to the
Disneyland Resort, so let's get you an answer!
I have some good news and some less pixie-dusted news for you. With the
SoCal Resident Ticket Offer, Guests must present a valid, government-issued photo ID with proof of eligible residency for admission. There isn't any wiggle room on this requirement, unfortunately, and utility bills, rental agreements, and student IDs are not valid substitutes in this instance.
I know we have a lot of friends who live in Southern California that are in a similar situation, so I like to point out that the magic in the SoCal Resident Tickets runs through May 15, 2025. If you're able to secure a California Driver's License or California ID, you will still have several months to take advantage of this offer as long as you live within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. What I love most about this ticket is that it does not have to be used on consecutive days, which allows you to spread out your visits and make the most out of your time at the parks.
On top of the everyday magic, there are a lot of fun events on the calendar between now and the expiration date of the SoCal Resident Ticket from the
Lunar New Year Celebration (January 17 - February 16, 2025) and the
Food and Wine Festival (February 28 - April 21, 2025) at Disney California Adventure Park to
Season of the Force (March 28 - May 11, 2025) at Disneyland Park. The Food and Wine Festival sees the return of
Soarin' Over California for a limited time, which is a do-not-miss in my opinion!
Brooke, I do hope you are able to find your way to the Happiest Place on Earth! If you have more questions in your planning, you know where to find us here at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
