Hiya Manjinder!
Thank you for sending this
Disneyland Resort holiday planning question to us hEAR at planDisney!
Oh Boy! I absolutely love Disneyland Resort in the spring. The iconic (ear-conic?) pink Tabebuia trees are in bloom, there are new baby Disney ducks, and the fan favorite
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival makes its return. (I like to say that this festival turns
Disney California Adventure Park into an Eat Park, too!) Be sure to keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches as they'll post all kinds of Disneyland Must-Do's. (And must eats!)
Historically there is Nighttime Entertainment every Disney day. As you mentioned, Manjinder, we won't officially know what the
Entertainment Calendar looks like until we're 30 days away from your visit to Mickey's house. However, based on what I've seen,
Fireworks and after dark shows like
Fantasmic! and
World of Color are usually always performed on weekends, which are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
April is a pretty popular month as schools across the US have spring vacations at various times, so I also think that there's a good chance that you'll see magic in the sky at
Disneyland Park during the week as well. This might look like the same show from the weekends, but it could also be a projection-only show which instead of featuring sparkles in the sky above
Sleeping Beauty Castle turns various parts of the park into a
high energy Disney dance party! (My favorite location to watch and boogie is in the middle of
Main Street U.S.A.) You'll know which show will be shown during your visit as the calendar description will say either "with Fireworks" or "with Projections."
I hope that this answer helped to clEAR your question up, Manjinder! Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. Thank you again for stopping by, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions, We're All Ears!
