Hello and welcome to planDisney, Jennifer!
Thank you for stopping by today with a great question! I am happy to hear you will be other Guests’ Fairy Godmother and purchase their theme park tickets to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!
While
purchasing tickets online, select “
This order will be a gift”
at the time of checkout under
Guest Info, and enter the recipient’s name as it appears on a valid government-issued photo ID (recipient may be required to present this ID). A gift receipt will then be mailed to you, and you can forward it to the gift recipient. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance because it may take up to 24 hours after placing your order before the recipient can pick up their tickets.
To retrieve physical tickets, the recipient will have to visit will-call windows located at the entrance of all theme parks, any
Guest Relations location, or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs and present the gift receipt and a valid government-issued photo ID. Please note that the name provided at the time of purchase must match the name on the ID. In addition, if you are giving tickets to a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accompany them and present a valid government-issued photo ID.
Please note that if you are connected via
My Family & Friends, you will be able to link the ticket directly to the Guest’s Disney account, and they will be able to go straight to the parks using a
MagicBand or
Disney MagicMobile service. Physical tickets can be mailed to you, but you must select this option and delivery type at the time of purchase.
I hope this information is helpful, Jennifer! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
