I'm buying tickets online, would like to purchase tickets for my family, 2 now and 2 next month. It will be season weekday pass. My question is we don't activate them until we arrive right? So they will have the same expiration date?

    Hi Deloris,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You are correct. Even if you buy your annual passes well in advance, the clock does not start on your year until you activate the passes at a park and use them for the first time.

To activate any of the Florida resident passes, including the Weekday Select pass, each adult will need to show proof of Florida residency. You can do this at a theme park ticket window or at Guest Relations at a park or Downtown Disney.

By the way, as a Florida resident, you also are eligible to use the interest-free monthly payment plan. At the time of purchase, you make a down payment and then the remaining cost is spread evenly over the next 12 months and charged automatically to your credit card. It sounds like you already have budgeted for your ticket purchase, but I wanted to let you know about this option in case that's appealing.

I hope that clarifies things for you. I love being a Walt Disney World passholder and hope you will, too. Please let me know if I can do anything else to help. Enjoy!
