I'm buying tickets and booking our hotel through my work place benefit hub will I be able to link it to my disney account to be able to make reservations, do we have to stay at the park because our hotel will be a few miles from the park

Hey there, hi there, ho there Carrie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney where you're always welcome as can be. Let's talk about your fantastic fall getaway!

Hot dog! How wonderful that you can take advantage of special offers through your work to help make your vacation dreams come true. I am eligible for a program called Tickets at Work and have used it several times to buy things like local theme park admission and movie tickets. When you purchase Walt Disney World theme park tickets through a third party vendor, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a 12-digit number you will use to link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account. Once the tickets are linked and matched to each member of your party, you will be able to make reservations in the Disney Park Pass System. Upon arrival, you'll need to visit Guest Relations or Will Call, either outside of a theme park entrance or at Disney Springs to pick up your admission cards.

If you choose to stay onsite at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can link that reservation to your My Disney Experience account to enjoy benefits such as online check-in and charging purchases to your room. Offsite hotels, including Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, cannot be linked to My Disney Experience. No matter where you stay, you are entitled to come and go to the theme parks as you please. Since you will only be a few miles from the theme parks, you may want to take a midday break for swimming or napping. If you are staying offsite you only have to pay for parking once per day, so be sure to hang onto your receipt. Onsite Guests can take advantage of complimentary transportation from their resort hotel to the theme parks.

I hope this information is helpful as you continue to plan for your adventure this fall. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and follow planDisney on social media to stay up to date on exciting happenings in the theme parks and resorts. Check out some of our newest Panel Extras, and if there are any other questions we can answer as your visit approaches, come back anytime. We're all EARS!

    See ya real soon!
