I'm buying an AP for myself before booking our October trip. How do I still get a magic your way package for my family without having to pay for tickets for myself?

Hi Stephanie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your question.

Stephanie, in order to book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, everyone on the reservation has to have the same package options. So, I would recommend waiting until you arrive to upgrade your ticket to your Annual Pass on property. This way you can apply what you paid as a credit and not over pay.

To upgrade your ticket, simply visit any Guest Relations or ticket window location at all four theme parks or Disney Springs, and a helpful Cast Member can take care of upgrading your ticket to an Annual Pass.

I hope you have a pixie-dusted year with your newly minted AP status! Be sure to browse all the benefits and discounts exclusive to Annual Passholders so you can enjoy those during all your upcoming visits. Pro-tip! Bookmark the Benefits and Discounts page on your mobile device so you can access it easily when you are enjoying the magic!

I hope this helps answer your question! Be sure to stop by and see us again soon with any more planning questions or for magical tips.

    See ya real soon!
