Hi Darrien! Welcome to planDisney.
How fun that you are making plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort soon. You and your party are welcome to purchase tickets in whatever way works best for you. If you decide to purchase tickets for everyone through your account, I recommend first making sure you have connected your
My Disney Experience accounts through
Family & Friends, so you'll be able to assign each ticket to the correct Guest. If each person prefers to buy their own ticket, that is OK too! I still recommend connecting via Family & Friends so you'll be able to make plans together, such as
dining reservations or booking
Lightning Lane reservations with Disney Genie+ service.
As soon as the tickets have been purchased, be sure to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. At this time, all Guests ages 3 and up will need a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation in addition to valid admission in order to enter a theme park. Each person can make their own Disney Park Pass reservation, or one person can make a reservation for everyone in the party. As long as everyone has a Disney Park Pass reservation for the same theme park on the same day, you'll be able to enter the park together.
If you haven't already connected with the other members of your group in Family & Friends, the easiest way to do this is via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Use the menu button in the lower right corner to scroll to "My Profile", and then select "Family & Friends List" on the top right. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Add a Guest" and choose "Scan their Linking Code". Your friends can obtain their linking codes under their profiles in their accounts. You can then either scan their codes or enter them manually.
I hope that helps! Darrien, if you have any additional questions, please stop by and see us here at planDisney again.
