Hi! Im busy planning my first WDW trip for the family (2 kids - 4yr, 7mon). I have a question about breakfast - is any basic breakfast included with the hotel stay? I am on the MYW package (no dining). Usually, we get continental buffets

Unlike many of the national hotel chains, continental breakfast buffets are not available to guests in standard rooms at the Walt Disney World resort.  There are, however, club (or concierge) level rooms in many of the resorts that do offer this type of service.

As an alternative, you can always stop in at the gift shop of your resort and purchase items like cold breakfast cereals, milk, juice, and fruit.  You might also consider bringing boxed items, like granola and/or cereal bars, and pre-packaged dried fruits from home.  Depending upon which resort you're staying in you may have access to a refrigerator in your room.  If you happen to be staying at any of the value resorts, you won't find a refrigerator in your room, but the food court will have inexpensive options (ie., oatmeal, cereal or bagels) available.

Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
