Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa!
Any day is a magical day at the Walt Disney World Resort! Even if the parks are expecting higher than average crowds. With a little planning pixie dust, I think you'll have an unforgettable time.
If you're concerned about crowds, I usually check a crowd calendar while planning so I can gauge what to expect and how to plan accordingly. You can find several from third party sites with a quick online search. My favorite one is Undercover Tourist. Crowd calendars are mere guesstimations from patterns these sites have observed throughout the years. And although they are often good guesses, it's not a perfect science. So, do take them into consideration, but don't worry too much about the numbers show. I specifically look to see which park they recommend visiting on which day rather than the crowd number. I think this is a better approach!
Melissa, the second important part of planning during busier seasons is to have some
pre-booked FastPass+ and reservations. These time-saving and welcome meal breaks are essential to a magical visit! You can begin making your FastPass+ reservations once you have your tickets purchased and linked to your My Disney Experience account up to 60-days in advance if you're staying onsite, 30-days if you're staying offsite.
For all those delicious and fun Disney meals, be sure to book your reservations early! You can start making all your Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180-days in advance. Another time-saving tip:
book a Character meal so you can check off two things off your wish list at one time; meal time and Character Meet and Greets!
Don't forget to mark your calendar and have fun planning! For any additional tips, be sure to stop by. We're happy to help!
