I''m bringing my 3 yr old son for the first time to Disney. He loves Cap'n Jack and will be thrilled to see Pirates of the Caribbean. Will there be any maintenance scheduled in the upcoming months? Possibly May/June? He'd be devastated if he missed it.

    Hi Sharon!

My daughter was 2 1/2 on our last visit and she fell in love with Captain Jack after riding Pirates of the Caribbean a few times. She went on and on about how cute he was and how she was going to marry him! I honestly don't know where she gets this stuff, lol.

That said, I know how important it must be for your son to see Captain Jack Sparrow! At this time, Pirates isn't scheduled for any maintenance. The operational updates are always subject to change, but there are a few other attractions currently being refurbished at the Magic Kingdom so it looks like Pirates of the Caribbean is in the clear.

Have a wonderful vacation and many great adventures with the Pirates of the Caribbean!
