Hi there Shawna, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by en route to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be happy to assist you today.
You must be so excited that your vacation is just about to begin. Since Disneyland Park in California is not currently open, and will be available only to residents of that state when it is operational later this month, I'm thinking that you'll be bringing your son to
Walt Disney World in Florida. What a fantastic spring escape! Elsa is still putting a touch of frost on things up north, and you'll enjoy the warmer, Olaf-approved temperatures in Orlando this time of year.
During the current phase of reopening, almost all attractions in the four theme parks are up and running. My son and I spent an action-packed day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park just this week, and we experienced so many fantastic rides and entertainment. Although several stage shows like
Finding Nemo: the Musical and Festival of the Lion King don't yet have any scheduled performances, we found plenty to keep us busy from park open to close.
To view a list of available attractions for the dates of your visit, check out
the Park Hours calendar. Scroll down to view information for each theme park. At
Magic Kingdom Park, for example, the Walt Disney World Railroad isn't making the rounds these days. Fortunately, your teens will have lots of thrills to choose from;
Space Mountain is launching right on schedule and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is just as wild as usual.
At
Disney's Hollywood Studios, your aspiring Jedis (or First Order hopefuls) should take time to fully explore Black Spire Outpost. They can take over the controls on the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and browse out-of-this-world merchandise in the marketplace. At
EPCOT, Future World offers several unique and exciting attractions for teens like Soarin' Around the World and Test Track. There's so much to zip-a-dee-do in the theme parks these days, and I suggest your Mouseketeers
browse the Walt Disney World website and make a list of priority attractions before you travel.
Finally, ticket prices vary by start date and available upgrades,
but a full list can be found here. Before purchasing admission, be sure there are
Disney Park Pass reservations still remaining for your travel dates.
I hope this helps as you make final preparations for your spring adventure. If there is anything else we can do to make future stays more magical, stop by again some time. Thanks again for sending your question our way, and we'll see ya real soon!
