I’m bringing my 7 year granddaughter to Disney World and she wants to be dressed up like a princess. Where do we go?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kandis! I think one of the most magical parts of being at Walt Disney World Resort is seeing the joy on the faces of all the children as an entire world of imagination comes to life around them. One of the ways to take the magic to the next level for your granddaughter is to have her live out her dream and dress up as a Disney Princess for a day! You have a couple of different options for princess transformations, so let's chat about how you can make your granddaughter's dreams come true this weekend.

If your little princess wants the royal treatment, then I recommend trying to get an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. A Fairy Godmother-in-Training will pamper your granddaughter with hair, makeup, and nail polish inspired by her favorite Disney Princess and she will also be able to pick a dress to keep! As you can imagine, this experience is extremely popular so reservations are highly recommended. There are three locations for you to choose from: Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney Springs, and inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. Make sure to visit those pages to check and see if there is any availability during your trip!

If your granddaughter isn't interested in the full transformation experience but would still like to dress up, there are so many beautiful dresses to choose from at merchandise locations all around Walt Disney World Resort. Check out Sir Mickey's, which is right by Cinderella Castle, or one of the larger merchandise locations like the Emporium or World of Disney at Disney Springs. These shops tend to have the biggest selection to choose from so you can find exactly what you're looking for. Make sure to stop by and meet Cinderella and Elena or Rapunzel and Tiana at Princess Fairytale Hall once she's all dressed up so you can get lots of Disney PhotoPass pictures! If your granddaughter is a Frozen fan, then you definitely can't miss meeting Anna and Elsa at the Royal Sommerhus. The Norway Pavilion at Epcot has a great selection of dresses from both of the movies so you may want to take some time to have a look there as well!

    Have a magical day, Kandis!
