Hi Michael,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! So excited to hEAR that you and your family will be coming to the Walt Disney World Resort later this fall!
First, check out this
Visitor’s Guide; I think it’ll be super helpful in your planning process. You’ll be able to see all the Theme Parks and get a gage on which you’d like to visit and what type of experiences you’d like to have. For example, are you focused on rides, character experiences, or both?
After reviewing the Guide, create a plan for what your family wants to do during your two days. Since you have grandchildren, my suggestion would be
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Animal Kingdom! When you’re looking at tickets, remember your one-year old grandchild will not need a ticket for admission into the Theme Parks and
Rider Switch Service is available.
If you have the availability, I suggest staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your time at the Resort. This way you’ll be able to utilize the
Early Theme Park Entry while staying at the participating hotels. This allows guests of the hotels to enter the Theme Parks 30 minutes early to get a head start on attractions!
You’re correct, Halloween will be over and
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will begin November 8th. So, you’d just miss out on both parties, but Hakuna Matata. During your time you may begin to see the fall decorations turn into Christmas decorations, which is very cool and many guests don’t get to experience it. Stay tuned to
Disney Parks Blog to see what experiences might be coming in early November!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you begin preparing for your trip later this fall. If you have other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
