I'm bringing my kids to visit in December and am wanting to do character dining at Goofys kitchen, my question is does my 2 year old need to be included in the count for the reservation or just my other 2 kids and husband?

    Hi, Jordan!

Thanks for stopping by with your question. Your Disneyland Resort visit will be here before you know it!

Although your 2-year-old can share food from your plate for free at buffets, my advice is to include everyone in the reservation number if you’ll want a spot for him or her at the table. When my son was that age, he was old enough to sit in a highchair with his own place setting during the meal. I included him in the count so we would be seated at a table large enough to accommodate all of us. If you know your little one will just remain on your lap the entire time, then it may not be necessary to count him or her.

I hope this helps you plan, Jordan. Please feel free to write back with more questions as your vacation approaches!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
