Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lee!
I think it’s wonderful that you’re bringing your friend to the Walt Disney World Resort. I have had some truly magical moments with my dear friends at Disney, and I know the two of you will have the best time together. As the song goes, “you’ve got a friend in me,” and I think Walt Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate friendship with some fun, laughter, great meals, and special moments.
Lee, it’s
extra wonderful that you took care of purchasing an
Annual Pass for your friend. I’m assuming that your friend is also a Florida Resident, and that you used her Florida driver’s license, state-issued ID, or Florida-based military ID to verify her residency when you completed the purchase. If you used one of those forms, she should be all set to activate her Annual Pass at a Walt Disney World Guest Relations window (in the theme parks or Disney Springs) when you arrive. She should bring that same form of ID with her in case asked to verify again. She’ll receive her
Annual Pass card and booklet upon activation.
You might find this
list of acceptable documents for proving Florida residency helpful. I would also recommend calling the V.I.Passholder support line at (407) WDW-PASS if you have any questions about the activation process or proving Florida residency. I always like to make sure we have everything we need to make the process go smoothly so we can let the magic begin!
Lee, make sure to check out all the great
special offers for Florida residents. I catch myself dreaming about becoming Mickey’s neighbor so I can take advantage of all the great deals – not to mention the ability to take in those cotton candy sunsets every night while drinking mimosas made with the finest orange juice!
I hope you make so many special memories with your friend at Walt Disney World! As you count down and dream about your trip, check out
these suggestions from my fellow Panelists about enjoying an adults-only visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. You two are going to have the MOST fun!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
