Hello there Athan! How exciting that this will be your family's first trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth!"
There is not Disney Magic Mobile Service at the Disneyland Resort like you've used at Walt Disney World Resort. However, if you have a
MagicBand+ that you've used at Walt Disney World Resort, you also can use it at the Disneyland Resort for entrance into the theme parks, and scan into Lightning Lane entrances if you purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass or
Lightning Lane Single Pass. You can follow these steps to help setup your
MagicBand+ and pair it to your Disneyland app.
You also can simply use your mobile phone and the Disneyland app to manage your theme park tickets,
theme park reservations, mobile food and beverage orders, and Lightning Lane selections. I always bring a portable phone charger with me in my park bag to ensure I always have enough phone battery to last throughout the day!
I also encourage you all to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Guest Services at Disney California Adventure Park to pickup your complimentary "First Visit" buttons! I'm sure you'll receive some nice shout-outs from Cast Members and Guests throughout your trip. Some of my favorite photo spots that are unique to the Disneyland Resort include along Route 66 in Cars Land and on the bridge in Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park, as well as in front of Matterhorn Bobsleds in Disneyland Park.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Athan! Please
come back to planDisney if we can help with any other questions.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
