I'm bringing my daughter to Disney as her Quinceanera present. Can her father take pictures of her with her Quinceanera dress in the MK park? Is there any restriction of type of clothes (dress, high heels) for personal pictures?

    Hello Nerimar!

Congratulations on your upcoming celebration! I am sure your daughter is excited to be celebrating this important milestone at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney's rules about attire do not expressly prohibit the type of dress that is often worn during a young lady's Quinceañera celebration.  The Cast Member I chatted with did state that there shouldn't be an issue as long as your daughter's face isn't covered in any way and as long as no items of clothing drag on the ground.  I would also like to point out that the rules indicate that clothing may not be obstructive. This would only be an issue if your daughter's gown is very "poofy" or broad across the bottom.  Please note that it is a Cast Members prerogative to refuse admission if they deem attire to violate their policies. I recommend that you bring a second set of clothing just in case.

If you are looking to plan a special celebration while at Walt Disney World, you may want to give the dream-builders at Disney Meetings and Events a call. They have many options available to create an extraordinary celebration!

Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have more questions. We love to help!

    See ya real soon,
