Hi Angelica! Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Did you know that Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with little ones a breeze? Here's how: complimentary diaper disposal units, bottle warmers, bottle sterilizers, cribs, and playpens are available upon request from the stateroom host/hostess or through Guest Services. Given that these items are in limited supply, I would request them upon boarding from
Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship). In your case, sounds like a bottle sterilizer and bottle warmer may be tops on your list. Don't bother trying to bring many of these items onboard as they take up valuable luggage space and many of them may be on the
Prohibited Items list.
For their square footage,
staterooms are surprisingly spacious in storage and counter space. You'll have no problem having those seven baby bottles on the counter/desk area across from the sofa. For a family of four, I'm constantly amazed how we all are able to live in the stateroom, store our luggage easily under the bed and in the abundant closet space, and not feel like the room is cluttered.
You may want to make a reservation in the
"it's a small world" nursery for your little buccaneer. This special space is custom-made for little cruisers ages six months to three years old. Space is limited, so it's best to reserve nursery hours when your advance reservation window opens. While your child is enjoying games, movies, crafts, and playtime, adults can enjoy some grown-up time. I'd recommend a lovely dinner at
Palo for a delightfully romantic Italian dinner overlooking the ocean!
Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app as it provides an up-to-date listing of activities and entertainment onboard right at your fingertips. You can search for activities by age and mark certain activities as a “favorite” and then you will receive reminders as the activity time approaches. One such activity you may want to consider entering your little one in is Jack Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash. In it, babies race by crawling to the finish line of a specially themed 20-foot track.
Drop us a message in a bottle if you think of any other questions-we'd be happy to help!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
