Hi, Sarah! Sounds like you are one awesome big sister! I don't have an older sister, but if I did... I'd want her to take me on a Disney Cruise!
If your younger sister is under the age of 18 and is traveling without a parent or legal guardian, the
Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. The form does require notarization and it must be presented by the authorized adult during check-in at the cruise terminal.
I hope that clears up your questions as you prepare for your
Very Merrytime voyage. It won't be long before you are setting sail for adventure with Mickey and the gang! Please be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. From home, you can view the character-filled countdown to your cruise, add plans to your vacation, and even check in to your reservation thirty days prior to setting sail.
Once you are aboard the ship, the app will display your daily activity schedule, provide an in-app chat feature, and show the menus for the restaurants onboard. Your festive itinerary will include themed activities, seasonal entertainment, and jolly Character greeting opportunities. You may want to pack some holiday-themed clothing for the picture opportunities on board. Some of my favorite Disney Cruise photos are from the Very Merrytime sailing we took. My husband and I packed some matching pajamas and had a grand time taking photos and embarrassing our children in the process.
Please cruise back to planDisney if you have any further questions. My pals and I would love to help you. We're trying to stay and the Nice List after all...
Have a very merry cruise!
