Ahoy there, Lindsay! Thanks so much for sailing back to planDisney with another excellent vacation planning question. I love that you are looking ahead to your 2027 vacation with
Disney Cruise Line and getting your (Donald) ducks in a row!
Since I'm married to someone who is a self-described coffee snob, I completely understand that this is vital information to know before embarking on any vacation! I have great news - you are A-OK to bring factory-sealed, non-perishable, non-alcoholic beverages with you on DCL sailings.
Lindsay, there is no set limit on the quantity Guests are allowed to bring, but keep in mind that your coffee will have to be in your carry-on luggage when you board the ship. Since you will be managing those bags for awhile until your stateroom is ready, it's wise to be thoughtful about how much stuff you want to tote around! Beverages in checked bags will be removed before they make it onboard. If you have other items on your packing list that you're not certain about, the
DCL list of prohibited items is always your best resource!
While onboard any DCL ship, my morning routine usually includes an early workout, followed by a stop at
Cove Café or
Vista Café. These are adults-only spots that serve specialty coffee drinks, alcoholic beverages, and tea throughout the day. You will love the latte art that features different Disney characters and other images! Drinks from the cafés are an additional charge. Be sure to request a punch card when you purchase your first beverage - after five, you receive a complimentary drink! If you don't quite get there, hold onto the card and you can use it on a future cruise.
Lindsay, I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes! Please come see our planDisney crew again if we can help with additional questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your cruise vacation.
