Hiya, Len! Thanks for reaching out to us at planDisney, where helping Guests have the best vacation ever is our goal. Just like a
Jungle Cruise skipper getting their crew ready for adventure, we're here to help you navigate the planning process.
During the booking process, you will be asked to enter the names of the Guests staying in your room during checkout. While you can typically edit that information later, those names are needed to complete the reservation. However, if you're simply looking to book a room now just for yourself and then add other Guests to your package at a later date, you typically may do so, as long as the total number of Guests does not exceed the maximum capacity of the room. Just note that doing this will affect the price of your package or your hotel room, and is subject to any applicable fees. In addition, if your reservation was originally booked with a special offer that is no longer available when you make the change, that could also affect the cost of your package.
When it comes time to make changes to your reservation, select the "
My Plans and Tickets" option from the My Disney Experience menu, find your reservation, and click the "Modify Reservation" link. Here, you'll have a few different options to change, so pick the one that fits the change you're looking to make and follow the prompts. Of course, if you run into any issues, you can always
speak with a friendly Cast Member at the resort. They really are the magic, so think of them as your
Jungle Cruise skipper helping steer the boat through the river. They can help guide you through any changes you need to make.
Len, best wishes as you plan your trip, and be sure to check out
the Disney Vacation Countdown Ideas episode of the planDisney Podcast to get you ready for the exciting lead-up to your vacation! Every great adventure begins before the boat even leaves the dock. If you have any other questions,
I'm here for you!
See you on the river…backside of water included,
Matt
