Hiya, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so happy to see you here with such a great planning question, and I'm even happier to see that you have a magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth on the horizon. Even as a devout planner, I know that plans sometimes change, and that is why I love the flexibility of planning a
Walt Disney World vacation. Now, let's chat about your concerns, because Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries."
I think you'll be happy to hear that if you book a
Walt Disney World Vacation Package, which includes your Disney Resort Hotel room and all five guests' theme park tickets, you can modify (or cancel) your Package up to 30 days before your arrival without penalty. That means that if one member of your travel party decides they can't go, as long as you make the changes at least 30 days before your trip, you can modify the number of guests (or make any other changes) without any worries.
To modify your Vacation Package, just log in to your
My Disney Experience account, scroll down to your Disney Resort Hotel reservation and click "Change Reservation" to make any necessary changes. Just keep an eye on the date and be sure to make any changes in time, because changes made within 30 days of your check-in date will incur a fee. While prices are subject to change, the current price to make late changes is $50 per package. Now, it's time to book that Vacation Package and start your countdown to the magic!
As your countdown dwindles, be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and
planDisney's Instagram page for Disney news as it drops and practically perfect planning tips. And, of course, feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
Adventure is out there!
